His career breakthrough was in 1994 when he came out with a self-titled release. He has bended genre conventions and made a name for himself. He has earned awards for his work in television and film. With 14 albums, 4 Grammy Awards, 11 Blues Foundation Awards and 6 Broadcast Music Inc. under his belt, ‘Keb ‘Mo is an established artist who has remained relevant over the years.
Other artists have recognized his talent. His songs have been recorded by notable names such as B.B. King, Buddy Guy, the Dixie Chicks, Joe Cocker, Robert Palmer, Tom Jones to name a few.
